Can you train a small team or just a few employees?
Yes, private on-site training is available for small teams and larger organizations, subject to course and location requirements. Tell us your approximate group size and training needs so we can confirm the available options. Individuals and smaller groups may also be able to register for an upcoming public class.
Can you schedule CPR training during our workday?
Yes. Flexible scheduling may be available on weekdays and weekends, depending on instructor availability. Share your preferred dates and times when you submit your training request.
How long does on-site CPR training take?
Course length depends on the training selected. CPR and AED courses are generally shorter than combined CPR, AED, and First Aid courses. BLS and other courses have their own requirements. We will confirm the expected training time for your selected course before scheduling.
Do students receive an American Heart Association certification?
Students who successfully complete the applicable American Heart Association course requirements receive an American Heart Association certification card. Card issuance is subject to completion of the course requirements. AHA course cards are valid for two years.
What does our workplace need to provide?
Your workplace needs a suitable training area with enough room for students to participate in hands-on practice and skills evaluation. Northern Nevada CPR brings the instructor and the training equipment needed for the selected course.
Do you offer blended learning for businesses?
Yes. Blended learning combines required online coursework with an in-person, hands-on skills session. It can allow employees to complete the online portion on their own schedule before attending the skills session. The required AHA online course is purchased separately.
