Notice required: Requests must be submitted by email at least 3 full days before the scheduled class.
-
Information required: Include your full name, original class date, and requested new class date.
-

One change per registration: Only one reschedule is permitted. A second change request will be treated as a cancellation and handled under the applicable cancellation and refund policy.
-
Late requests: Requests received less than 3 full days before class cannot be accommodated.
-

Cancellation requests must be submitted by email.
-
Eligible cancellations: If you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled class, you may receive a refund of your ticket price, less a $10 processing fee.

-
No-shows: Students who do not attend their scheduled class are not eligible for a refund.

Group and Private Training Policies
Group and private training sessions are scheduled specifically for the requesting organization or group.
-
Rescheduling: A group or private training session may be rescheduled one time without an additional rescheduling fee if Northern Nevada CPR receives at least 48 hours' notice.
-
Late cancellations: If cancellation is not received at least 48 hours before the scheduled session, the full class fee will be charged.

Changes in student count: Northern Nevada CPR must be notified of changes to the expected number of students at least 48 hours before the session. Otherwise, the organization may be billed for the number of students originally scheduled.
-
No-shows and late arrivals: Fees are not reduced or refunded for students who do not attend or arrive too late to participate.
Any separate written agreement or quote for a group or private session may establish additional terms for that booking.

Registration and Payment
Students are responsible for providing accurate registration and contact information and completing payment as required to secure their place in a class.
Students are responsible for purchasing and completing any required online component before the in-person session. Refunds for separately purchased online courses or third-party products are subject to the applicable provider's policies. Northern Nevada CPR cannot guarantee a refund from a third-party provider.

Required Course Materials
The American Heart Association requires each student to have their own current, appropriate student workbook available for use before, during, and after the course. Electronic editions may be available for applicable courses.
Students are responsible for obtaining the required textbook or confirming that they have access to an eligible copy before class. Textbooks and manuals are intended for individual use and may not be copied or shared in ways that violate AHA requirements.
If you need to purchase the required textbook, please contact Northern Nevada CPR at northernnevadacpr@gmail.com before your course date for assistance.
Failure to obtain or have access to required course materials may affect your ability to participate in or complete the course, in accordance with applicable AHA requirements.

Late Arrival
Students should arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for check-in and preparation.
Students arriving more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time may not be admitted. If a late student cannot join the class, the absence will be handled under the applicable no-show and refund policy.

Course Attendance and Completion
Students must attend the required in-person training and participate in all required course activities to be eligible for certification.
Certification requirements may include:
-
Full participation in the required instruction and hands-on practice.
-
Successful completion of required skills evaluations.
-
Successful completion of a written examination when required for the specific course.
-
Meeting all applicable AHA course requirements.
Registration or attendance alone does not guarantee certification. Students who do not meet the required course standards will not receive a certification card.
Remediation may be available when permitted by the course requirements and instructor. Additional training or reassessment may be necessary.
No refunds are provided for failure to complete or pass the course.

Minors
Students under 18 may participate in eligible classes when permitted by the applicable course requirements. A parent or legal guardian must provide any registration or consent required for a minor.
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that minors arrive on time, follow instructor directions, and meet the participation requirements for the selected course. Any age restrictions or additional requirements stated in a course description also apply.
Accommodations
If you have a physical limitation or need an accommodation that may affect participation in hands-on activities, please contact us before class at northernnevadacpr@gmail.com so we can discuss your needs.
