Yes. Northern Nevada CPR provides mobile, hands-on CPR, AED, First Aid, and BLS training at workplaces and organizations throughout Northern Nevada. We bring the training to your location, making it easier for your employees to complete certification without traveling to a training center.
What CPR certifications do you offer for businesses?
We offer American Heart Association certification courses including BLS, CPR, AED, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens training for businesses and organizations.
How many employees can attend a private class?
Private classes can accommodate your entire team. Larger groups can be divided into multiple classes so everyone receives the hands-on practice they need.
What if we only have a few employees who need certification?
That's no problem. Small businesses can schedule private training for their team, or employees can attend an upcoming public class if that works better for them.
Can you train our employees during the workday?
Yes. We can work with your schedule to find a training date and time that works for your team. Weekday and weekend training are also available.
How long does a business CPR class take?
Class length depends on the certification your employees need. CPR-only training is shorter than CPR combined with First Aid, while BLS and other courses have their own training requirements. When you request a class, we'll let you know how much time to plan for your specific course.
Do employees receive an American Heart Association certification card?
Yes. Students who successfully complete the required course receive an American Heart Association card. CPR and BLS certifications are generally valid for two years.
Does our business need to provide anything for the class?
You provide a suitable training space with enough room for students to participate in hands-on practice. Northern Nevada CPR brings the training equipment and supplies needed for the class.
Can you provide CPR training for employees who work in different locations?
Yes. If your organization has multiple teams or locations throughout Northern Nevada, we can discuss a training plan that works for your organization.
Do you offer blended learning for businesses?
Yes. Blended Learning combines online coursework with an in-person hands-on skills session. This can be a convenient option for businesses that want employees to complete the online portion on their own schedule before attending the skills session. The required AHA online course is purchased separately from the hands-on skills session.
