Course Topics Include:

  • Scene safety and emergency action steps

  • Adult, child, and infant CPR

  • Proper use of an AED

  • Relief of choking for adults, children, and infants

  • Basic first aid skills, including bleeding control, wound care, burns, and weather-related emergencies

  • Recognition and response to medical emergencies such as heart attack, stroke, and allergic reactions

Who should take this course?

This course is ideal for workplace safety teams, childcare providers, educators, coaches, caregivers, community members, and anyone who wants to be better prepared to help in an emergency. No prior medical knowledge is required.

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) use
