Same-Day Cards for Compliance
Every participant receives their BLS certification card the same day. Submit to HR, credentialing, or your licensing board immediately after class.
What Is BLS - and Do You Need It?
-
BLS (Basic Life Support) is the standard CPR certification required for most licensed healthcare professionals. It goes beyond standard CPR training to include high-quality chest compressions, bag-mask ventilation, team-based resuscitation, and recognition of cardiac and respiratory emergencies.
-
If you are a nurse, physician, medical assistant, dental professional, CNA, EMT, or other licensed healthcare provider, your employer or licensing board likely requires AHA BLS - not a standard CPR card. Our BLS course meets that requirement.
Not sure if you need BLS or standard CPR & First Aid? Call or text us and we'll help you figure out the right course for your role.

CPR Training for Healthcare Professionals — Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between BLS and standard CPR? BLS (Basic Life Support) is the healthcare-grade certification required by hospitals, clinics, and licensing boards. It includes bag-mask ventilation, team-based resuscitation, and a higher standard of hands-on skill assessment. Standard CPR & AED or CPR & First Aid is designed for general workplace and community use. If your employer or licensing board requires BLS, a standard CPR card will not meet that requirement.
Is your BLS course AHA-certified? Our BLS course is AHA-aligned and taught by an AHA-certified instructor. Participants receive a BLS certification card the same day. We recommend confirming with your employer or licensing board that our certification meets their specific credentialing requirements.
Can you train our entire clinical team at our facility? Yes. We specialize in on-site group training and bring all equipment - manikins, bag masks, AED trainers, and materials - directly to your clinic or office.
Can you train both clinical and non-clinical staff in the same visit? Absolutely. We can run a BLS session for your clinical staff and a standard CPR & First Aid session for your front desk or administrative team in the same visit, so everyone gets the right certification for their role.
When do participants receive their certification cards? Same day. Every participant receives their certification card the day of class, so you can immediately submit to HR, credentialing, or your licensing board.
How long is BLS certification valid? BLS certification is valid for 2 years. We make renewal easy - schedule a new on-site session when your team's cards are approaching expiration. Many practices schedule recurring group renewals to keep their entire staff current at the same time.
