What CPR certification do childcare providers need?
The appropriate CPR and First Aid certification depends on your childcare program, employer and applicable licensing requirements. Northern Nevada CPR offers American Heart Association CPR, AED and First Aid courses that include adult, child and infant emergency response skills.

Yes. Babysitters and nannies can take CPR and First Aid training designed to provide emergency response skills for adults, children and infants.

How long is American Heart Association certification valid?
American Heart Association CPR and First Aid certifications are generally valid for two years. Always check your employer or licensing requirements for current renewal requirements.
